“We want to thank you profusely for your assistance in helping Matthew determine what his natural skills are and what he would enjoy doing as an occupation. He had a smile a mile wide! He also really enjoyed getting to know you and he felt that he made a real ‘connection’ with you and that you really understood him. He stated that he’d like you as a ‘friend.’ That’s one of the best compliments a person could ever hope to hear!”
-Parent of High School Senior"I was out of the mainstream workforce for two years and didn't know how to properly market my skills and talents. Alice worked with me and helped me prepare for an interview and helped build confidence in myself. She helped me identify and highlight my strengths. Alice is insightful and provides valuable feedback/resources that contributed to my self discovery and a new job opportunity. Alice is knowledgeable and real and I would recommend her services to anyone who wants to work with a caring person who will support you with nailing an interview."
-Candice C., August 2018“The most helpful portion of working with Alice was she completely prepared me for my interview. When the recruiter and my manager asked me questions I was completely confident and 100% prepared to answer all of their questions. I have never been that prepared for a job interview before in my life. Alice worked with me to prepare for an upcoming interview, so we did mock interviews and she prepared me for the type of questions that they may ask me.”
-Tiayun B., July 2020, landed a job after interview prep and practice with Alice"I worked with Alice in 2013-2014 and my time spent gaining insight from Alice Rush (which she provided through phone and email distance coaching) on interview preparation and company research helped me really make a strong impression in the interview process. After that work then came the offer, now we all get to celebrate in the success I was able to achieve through this online program and Alice's coaching abilities."
- Robert J., April 2015"Alice provides more than service, she provides lasting change in one's life. She helped me to decide what academic program was best for me; by using a variety of tools and interview techniques, Alice went above and beyond to get me where I needed to go. I've since recommended her to all of my friends and colleagues who are in transition in their life."
- Dr. Kris L., July 2009 -
All credentials are not equal. The nationally Certified Career Counselor (CCC designation from NCDA ) is the most rigorous to achieve requiring a masters degree in Counseling, many years of supervised counseling by a licensed professional, letters of recommendation, passing complex testing on Career Development Knowledge, Research, Theory, Statistics, Validity testing as opposed to other credentials only requiring a non counseling or coaching background. Anyone can become a coach in just a few months of training, whereas to become a CCC takes years beyond the Masters degree in Counseling to achieve.
